Description:

For the construction of City Hall in 1756-1760, architects and Jumel Beffara Riquier used part of the foundations of the old town hall (built from 1550 to 1600). In 1852, the City Council of the city of Amiens took the decision to expand and complete the City Hall. The work of sculpture and exterior decorations were made ​​from 1878 to 1886. In 1993, a major program of works and refurbishment of the premises was undertaken.
